Second Week January 2026 Updates
At the end of 2025 we "thought" we had every single ultra-marathon race in Wales on the database, well we didn't.
In the last week, we've added two more races in Wales:
The Marreg by Narberth Nobblers which is a 78km/46 mile ultra-marathon in Pembrokeshire, taking on the quiet yet magnificent Preseli Hills and then making it's way on to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and finishing at Whitesands near St Davids.

The second latest Welsh ultra-marathon is the Sirona 100 mile ultra-marathon that starts in Barmouth and finishes in Cardigan, taking on the Ceredigion Coast Path, a 100 mile section of the larger Wales Coast Path.

As well as Wales, we've also added a number of other ultra-marathon races from Scotland and England as we continue to add every single ultra-marathon from the UK and beyond.
The West Highland Way ultra-marathon, a 96 mile ultra taking on the iconic West Highland Way National Trail.

And the absolutely iconic Cape Wrath Ultra by Ourea Events.

Compare Races Side by Side
Remember, you can compare all of these races side by side on our one of a kind race comparison tool at https://findtrail.co/race/compare
Where you can diff and compare over 80+ data points from each race.
Join The Community and Suggest New Features
We add these updates and more at our Trail Running Community and you can join the Trail Running Circle and discuss the FindTrail.co website, how it works, suggest feature updates, discuss your adventures and fuelling strategies and much more!
New Features On The Website
There have been a number of new features added to the site, including but not limited to:
Add and remove data columns on the advanced race discovery tool, we limited this to 8 columns where you can see the basics such as name of race, photo of the landscape, video of the race, difficulty score, elevation, distance, month of race and a link to compare that race with others.
At the top of the discovery tool you can now add and remove extra columns, more than 50 of them in fact.
Do you want to see races with the longest average categorised climb length? Check the checkbox for that data to show it on the table below the filters and then sort by that column: https://findtrail.co/race?views_fields_on_off_form%5Bfield_race_avg_cat_climb_length%5D=field_race_avg_cat_climb_length&fields_on_off_hidden_submitted=1&search=&order=field_race_avg_cat_climb_length&sort=desc
You'll now see a list of the current races on the website sorted by those with the biggest categorised climb lengths in their race. So if you're looking specifically for a race with very long climbs, that will help you narrow down your search!
It's features like this which are unavailable anywhere else on the internet and every single data point and feature of this site is manually created, there is no AI involved as this is a passion of mine and I hope to help you all find races and adventures based on the specific requirements you have.
This site wouldn't be possible without your support so if you find it helpful it would mean the world if you could donate so that I can keep it free for everyone to use and also put more time in to it https://ko-fi.com/findtrail
Save Races To Your Wishlist
The final update this week is that you can now find races and save them to your own wishlist, go to the race page, click "Add to wishlist" and then at My Account > My Race Wishlist it should appear here.
Added The Race Map
You can now start to look at races via a map and select them based on where they are in the UK using our new race discovery map: www.findtrail.co/race/map
See you next week with more updates!
Thanks,
Martin
